Assign material properties to the model

I am trying to solve the problem of 2D and 3D overlapping affecting the output after importing STL models, but I have not found the code file for assigning values to spatial nodes after mesh division.
I think this may be due to overlapping triangle hypotenuse in the rectangular STL file, causing the gridlines to be unrecognizable.
