Im trying to run an EM simulation on a grounded microstrip structure. Im using MSL ports as discussed in an earlier post and Im defining the port coordinates from the top conductor to the bottom GND plane. I presume this will include the ground plane.
However, since this is a two port simulation, I presume the second port should also have an excitation signal. (the notch filter example only uses one port). Is this accurate for a two port setup? I have attached my code.
Lines 119 and 123 define the two
MSL_8by8_TwoPort.py
ports. Is this the correct way?
