I fixed the issues you are facing with black. To do so, I have added a Makefile constructing a virtual environment relying on uv and installing dependencies (from pyproject.toml), black, and hatch.
With that file you can do
locally and you reproduce what your GitHub action is doing later. Using an LLM I corrected the black problems.
