lessons from ben's MIT trip #20

Description

@ggggggggg
  1. @bmates1 called me this weekend from MIT after failing to run autotune on a fresh install.
  2. after debugging, we determined that he had tried to install qsdumux directly with uv rather than following the microcal daq instructions. it took us 15 minutes to even remember we should be using microcal-daq
  3. it continued to fail because umux_tune and the IF_chain repo were private AND not shared with BEN

suggested fixes:
2. all repos under microcal-daq should point suggest using caldaq to install
2a. maybe those repos should also not even have their own install instructions?
3. i thought our policy was to make all the repos publics, this clearly is not currently the case. Ben said that Dan said that CU says we cant? I still think all public is the best, otherwise we should expect more issues like this, or we need to have more helpful error messages or not ever add people direclty to a repo, but only ever add people to a group that has access to all repos
