Hi! I'm Wanessa Melgar 👋 Backend Engineer in training with a strong focus on data, system integration, and applied AI.

I’m currently studying Information Systems (8th semester) and working with Python, FastAPI, Django, Node.js, REST APIs, and databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Oracle (PL/SQL). I have hands-on experience with exploratory data analysis, corporate systems (payroll and financial data), and backend support in production environments.

I enjoy building practical solutions involving LLMs, RAG, automation, system integration, and cloud/DevOps fundamentals (Docker, IaC, CI/CD). Always learning, building, and improving — especially where data and backend engineering meet.
