Charging is very inconsistent when plugged in to Raspberry pi zero 2w

The charging is very inconsistent. Often spiking up to 250mAh (So losing battery.) then jumping back to -150mAh, but it never consistently charges. Happens with all cables i could find, so theyre not at fault. Also cant be my vitas port, it charges fine without.

Does it happen if you plug into a PC or other device? It's possible the power supply for the Pi is struggling.

Sorry for the late reply, I don't use GitHub very often, as it's not something I really see the need to maintain.
After having talked about this specific issue with Silent Night, i was told it's because the data transfer takes a lot of the power away, and the vita not taking more than it's marked for (so the video out basically taking the required charging power). To fix this, you could theoretically use a splitter with a data end into the rpi, while a second cable is directly connected to an outlet. The issue there would be that you need to strip the cable to remove data on one end and power on the other (as a preventive measure for frying your vita).
