I'd recommend a clean slate and assign volunteers to actually deal with the new issues.

A lot of the issues are duplicates, Because many users don't search for a previous issue of one in the same, If people would take a minute to search prior to issuing a bug or enhancement, Their wouldn't be so many issues on the list.

I've also noticed a lot of issues are still opened because users create an issue and don't come back to update it and close the issues. So many of those issues are stale.

Hi @yuliskov, I use SmartTube practically every day, and I would like to give back and contribute some time to the project. If it's of use to you, I could begin going through the open issues, oldest first, and marking them as completed, no longer relevant, duplicate, etc. Let me know if you're interested in my proposal, and if any other volunteers wish to join me, feel free to ping me too.

@ACR-Jeff to share the workload, I suggest one of us takes odd-numbered years (2021, 2023, etc) and the other takes even (2020, 2022, etc). I'll let you decide which you want.

It might also be easier to deal with feature requests first - if a feature already exists, they can just be closed as complete without much thought, while bugs may take a little longer to investigate if we need to reproduce anything. Thoughts?
