In recent releases the Settings have become populated with a large number of settings, It's some times difficult to find a certain setting, Add a search box in the Settings page to search for a setting,

Adding a search box in the Settings page to search for a setting. I have noticed when opening the Settings page the search icon is present, Yet the search icon takes you to the standard search page to search for channels and videos, Add a search box to the right side or below the search icon for searching the Settings. As presented in the mocked up image below.

No alternatives I can think of for this particular usage.

Additional information

It would help users find the setting they are looking for more convenient.

Agreed. That's absolutely needed option.

I have finished working on this feature. The solution proposed here is a little more complicated to code, in my opinion.
Here is the result of what i have done:
New button in setting:

When you click on it you have a search bar

When you type text (i typed "Block" in this exemple), you have the settings path appear:

you can click on an item and it gets you to the PARENT settings, not the entry itself. Why? Because i had a lot of troubles to make it works with checkboxes entries.
For exemple in my picture if i click on the first result i have:

I tried to make it work to open the "Boot to section" directly but this cause bugs in other settings where it made the app crash.
I'll create a PR @yuliskov , maybe you'll be able to make it better, this is as far as i can go with my skills :')

No problem Yuriy, take all the time you need. You're flying solo to review the whole codebase ^^' and there is no rush! ;)
