Change Password using Zowe CLI APIs

As a Zowe Explorer User, I would like to have the ability to change my password for the mainframe through Zowe Explorer.

dependency on Zowe CLI making use of the z/OSMF APIs:

There is also the question of whether to use this API or the one being provided by the Zowe API Mediation Layer.

• Roadmap (1) Implement the z/OSMF API first (2) Implement the APIML if there's a way to check if the host has an APIML installed.
• Research does zosmf accepts change password for revoke IDs
• Discuss with CLI team if they can add the z/OSMF auth API in SDK. Can be implemented under zowe zosmf ...

As per CLI team, they will add a story in their objective but it will be a stretch. They can implement the new API in the next PI but if we have capacity then we could grab that story and they will review it.
