How is the MA server installed?

Docker Container

Mandatory: Carefully read the Troubleshooting FAQ and confirm that

  • I have examined the logs and tried to resolve this issue
  • I have fixed any errors or warnings in the logs that relate to tags
  • I am not running MA across a VPN, VLAN, subnet, behind a firewall, or using local SSL or have any other complex network setup
  • I am not using or have disabled tools such as AdGuard, Pi-hole or pfSense and retested

  • For playback problems, I have recycled power to the physical device

The problem

No Album Art (or images of any kind) from the Emby provider is displayed in the Mobile App (2026.06.10.2124) or any build released in the past couple of weeks.
Images from my other providers (Qobuz and BBC Sounds) are displayed correctly.
Images from Emby are displayed correctly in the web app

Additional information

Emby is the only provider that makes up my Music Library, I have no Albums, Artists or Tracks in Qobuz (only playlists)
I am connecting to the mobile app via WebRTC Optimised mode (HA Cloud)
The art is only broken in the mobile app. It works correctly ijn the web ui
I raised an Issue with the Mobile App music-assistant/mobile-app#564
They advised that they thought the issue was with the Emby provider
When I have installed the mobile app previously (a few weeks ago), album art was displayed correctly
I can't say for sure but maybe it stopped working after this music-assistant/server#3995
I get Emby is beta and the mobile app is pre-release but would be grateful if someone could check
