Essentially I'm trying to hunt down the source of this specific RCbot version
"rcbot_ver" is "1.5_BETA_mm_release_win32 (SC 4.8) (BUILD Aug 17 2013-22:59:59)"
The bots-united forums are dead now so they are of no help, that was most likely where it was posted. Sven coop also killed off their original forums and moved to steam community, so everything there is lost too.

Called "w00tguy123-bot-pack 4_8.rar" that I found somewhere, and it works perfectly for SC 4.8, but the issue is that there is no linux binary and no source so can't build one either. Importantly this pack also contains hundreds of waypoints files, which are at great danger becoming lost media as forums, sites, links are dying. All that work gone into crafting those gone unless they're archived.
Do you possibly have that source from 2013 or even just a built version for linux, or am I asking the wrong person? Without it setting a classic SC 4.8 server with rcbot on linux is impossible.
