schema is not detected

Describe the bug

When I open a yaml metadata file in fdroiddata, the schema should be detected automatically based on the file path metadata/*.yml. But it's not detected since 1.20.0. This is caused by #1137. Reverting it fix the problem.

It seems to work for me. I think it detects the schema automatically through the SchemaStore mechanism. Do you have a schema set for these files in your settings? If so, what are the settings you're using?

It's the default setting in helix. https://github.com/helix-editor/helix/blob/master/languages.toml#L1653 And it works well after reverting that commit. So it seems that commit somehow breaks the SchemaStore mechanism.

It could be something similar to #1201 . If that's the case, I'm in favour of reverting that change and not suppressing the warning that VS Code generates. Going to see if I can grab logs from Helix to confirm that's the problem.
